Guadeloupe to Martinique in Rough Seas

My husband, I sold everything and left on a Cal 2-46 sailboat to head for Grenada. I am working as we go with Health Coaching and essential oil education. We have been on quite the journey and it's only really begun. We have traveled from Portsmouth, VA to Martinique and man it's not all been fun. This last one from Guadaloupe to Martinique the seas were so freaking big! We actually turned back and went back to Guadaloupe and then said it's not gonna get better and took a deep breath, reefed the sails and went back out for a 5-hour pounding. Once we made it to Martinique it all calmed down and then we enjoyed the rest of the sail. We were almost to Fort-De-France when a gust of wind came out of nowhere and tore the sail. It was wicked, to say the least. Enjoy the video and our new theme song. ;-) hashtagbreath hashtagsailing hashtagtravel hashtagadventure hashtagtravelinghealthcoach hashtagmartinique hashtagvideo hashtagyoutube hashtagdigitalnomads
